"The Rich Man's Daughter" is the Female Version of "My Husband's Lover!"

Two years ago, GMA-7 pioneered "My Husband's Lover," a provocative teleserye which deals with a same sex relationship between two men played by Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez. It was a story of a married gay man who had a gay lover. The series became a nationwide hit putting the loveteam of Tom and Dennis which is known as TomDen on great stardom! 

Now, the Kapuso network is once more bringing another controversial TV series on Primetime. It's another same sex relationship issue but this time, it involves a girl to girl romance! This is "The Rich Man's Daughter" that will tackle lesbian issues. It will tell the story of Jade played by Rhian Ramos and her relationship with the lesbian Athena played by Glaiza De Castro.

In the said TV series, the focus is on the Filipino Chinese family of Oscar (Al Tantay) who finds out that his daughter, Jade (Rhian Ramos), is a lesbian. The series follows how he is forced to offer P5million to a man who will marry her. But this move will also hurl whole family into a series of discoveries.

And as Jade discovers something about herself and upholds her personal truths, will she still be able to experience unconditional love from her family and friends? Will she be able to hold on to her personal truths and fight for her love even if it will destroy her family?

Jade will fall in love with Althea (Glaiza) who is a smart, independent and driven woman, sexy, classy, yet a proud lesbian.

What can you say about the plot of the story?! Will this become another world-wide hit just like "My Husband's Lover?"
