It's official! TVJ is now on TV5!
Just this Wednesday, June 7, 2023, TV5 officially announced that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon or TVJ including their co-hosts like Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Allan K., Wally Bayola, Ryzza Mae, Ryan Agoncillo, and Maine Mendoza are now moving to TV5. They already inked deal with the Mediaquest Group, the company that operates the TV5 network.
On their official social media accounts, TV5 posted a poster of the original hosts of 'Eat Bulaga,' saying: "Welcome to TV5 Dabarkads!"

Meanwhile in an official statement released by the Kapatid network, the Mediaquest President and Chief Executive Officer Jane Basas said: “I’m honored that these pillars of the Philippine entertainment industry have agreed to work with us. Our partnership strengthens our ability to continue to deliver the best for Filipino viewers here at home and all over the world.”

On the other hand, Maine Mendoza posted on her Instagram and twitter accounts a teaser video of TVJ moving to TV5 showing the journey of Tito, Vic, and Joey to four major TV networks in the Philippines namely RPN-9, ABS-CBN 2, GMA-7, and now TV5. Aside from this teaser video simultaneously shared by the netizens in social media, the original 'Eat Bulaga' hosts like Ryan Agonzillo, Ryzza Mae, Paolo Ballesteros among others also shared their excitement working on their new home - in TV5.
Instantly on twitter and on other social media platforms, the hashtag #EatBulagaSaTV5 became a top trending topic on that same day.
