Is the Sarah Geronimo-John Lloyd Cruz Movie 'It Takes a Man and a Woman' be the Next Top-Grossing Pinoy Film of All Time?!

Box-office royalties Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz are still in awe with the undeniable ‘Laida-Miggy magic’ that made "It Takes A Man and A Woman," the third installment of Sarah and John Lloyd’s hit romantic-comedy movie series, earn P300 million in just two weeks in cinemas nationwide. The Cathy Garcia-Molina-directed film is the third Filipino movie that reached the P300 million mark after “Sisterakas” and “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin,” which are both part of the list of highest-grossing Filipino films of all time

According to Sarah, she and John Lloyd feel nothing but grateful to everyone who loves the love story of Laida (Sarah) and Miggy (John Lloyd). "Overflowing 'yung suportang binigay ng tao sa amin,” said Sarah. “Actually, 'yung umabot kami ng P100 million in less than a week ay sobra-sobra na. Tapos ngayon, na-reach na ng movie 'yung P300 million mark. Wow! Maraming-maraming salamat po talaga."

Graded 'A' by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB), "It Takes A Man And A Woman" became a certified box-office hit since its opening day on March 30 when it raked ₱32.6 million. It further proved the strength of the ‘Laida-Miggy magic’ when the film earned P100 million on its fourth day and when it eventually hit the P200 million mark in just eight days.

Now that it earned P300 million, "It Takes A Man And A Woman" already broke the records of the first two installments of the most successful Filipino romantic-comedy movie series. The first Laida-Miggy film “A Very Special Love” grossed P179.3 million in 2008, while its sequel “You Changed My Life” scored P225.2 million in 2009.

Co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films and written by Carmi Raymundo, "It Takes A Man And A Woman" also features Joross Gamboa, Gio Alvarez, Matet De Leon, Al Tantay, Irma Adlawan, Guji Lorenzana, Rowel Santiago, and Dante Rivero. The film also introduces model-host Isabelle Daza.

Don't miss the return of the most successful romantic-comedy movie series "It Takes A Man And A Woman," still showing on cinemas nationwide. (www.tvseriescraze.blogspot.com)
