GMA Network's cooking and cultural show 'Farm To Table' celebrates its 2nd Year Anniversary! And inline with its anniversary special, the show just recently had our virtual blogcon with the show's host Chef JR Royol.
During our blogcon, exciting surprises were revealed by Chef JR including his travel to his hometown in Barlig, Mountain Province as part of the show's anniversary special!
On my interview with Chef JR I've asked if what are the dishes and delicacies he will offer on the show's anniversary. Is there certain criteria about the food they will feature on the show?
We are also curious about the celebrity guest stars who will cook for the show during its anniversary offering. And Chef JR promptly said that the Kapuso Drama Queen Ms. Bea Alonzo is one of the stars who will grace the episode.
Chef JR further shared that Uncle Sohl will bring us to their ancestral house in Barlig. Auntie Grace on the other hand will tour us to their attic storage where they put the harvested rice stalks. They will also feature the well-known Mountain Province delicacy called Etag.

Chef JR also added that they will also feature his sweet bonding moment with his son Matteo in Barlig.
During Chef JR's homecoming, they will prepare the traditional cuisine Pinikpikan. They will also prepare the Etag Pasta recipe inspired by the easy to prepare carbonara. He will also make Etag Casserole and the northern blood sausage called Pinuneg.
These are some of the exciting things to watch out on the show's 2nd year anniversary special. The 'Farm to Table' series of anniversary special begins this Sunday, February 19, 6:50 p.m. on GTV.
