She started her career in a mobile app called Dubsmash until became part of the noontime show "Eat Bulaga" and paired to Alden Richards. Eventually her tandem now known as AlDub turns into a world-wide trending topic and the name 'Yaya Dub' becomes a huge hit. No doubt why Maine Mendoza deserves to be our Breakthrough Celebrity of the Year here in our very own, The 6TH TV Series Craze Awards 2015.
Maine quickly rose in huge fame just this year when she was paired to Alden. Her endorsements and TV commercials pour like rain. Aside from that, she even had her first movie as one of the lead casts in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival official entry, "My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore" with of course Alden Richards, Ai Ai Delas Alas, and Vic Sotto. The said movie then turned to be this year's 3rd Best Picture.
Aside from that, Maine was also hailed as Best Supporting Actress for the said movie during the MMFF 2015 Awards night.
