Yes, this is not the first time that Pokwang and Zanjoe worked together in one project. We may recall that the two were paired before in one of the five stories in the horror flick "Cinco" under Star Cinema. Then in 2006, they led the ABS-CBN sitcom "Aalog-Alog." Now this 2014, the two were rejoined but this time in a full-length film where their love team is dubbed as PokZa!
Zanjoe and Pokwang were now titled as the "King and Queen of Skylight Film." This is because, the two already proved their box-office worth after leading in two different Skylight Film projects - Zanjoe in "Bromance: My Brother's Romance" while Pokwang in "Call Center Girl" last year.
The movie is not an ordinary film. Yeah, it seems a mush-up of all the hit Star Cinema movies as Pokwang and Zanjoe revitalize the famous lines and scenes of Star Cinema movies. We may laugh as we see scenes from "Starting Over Again," "It Takes a Man and a Woman," "Bride for Rent," and "She's the One." And of course, we may also witness the famous Nicole-Monica (Maja Salvador-Angel Locsin) sampalan scene from the hit TV series "The Legal Wife" relived by Pokwang and Ellen Adarna.
During the grand presscon of the said movie held at the Dolce Latter Gourmet in Quezon Avenue, Pokwang revealed that they inserted the said scenes from those mentioned movies because in the story, Clarisse (the character of Pokwang) always relate herself in the different Star Cinema movies.
