'ASAP 19' Premieres This Sunday

“ASAP 19” welcomes 2014 with full of world-class performances and production numbers this Sunday (January 5) as it celebrates the 19th anniversary of ABS-CBN’s longest-running, top-rating, at trending musical variety show.

Aside from its New Year treats, “ASAP 19” will also throw an all-star tribute for the broadway diva Lea Salonga, who is celebrating her 35th showbiz anniversary. ASAP Kapamilya's salute to Lea will be made more special by the members of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra.

“ASAP 19” doubles up the fun and love this Sunday with the back-to-back surprises from the cast of ABS-CBN’s upcoming romantic-comedy sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” to be led by John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga; and the lead stars of Star Cinema’s first movie offering this year “Bride For Rent” Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.

Be mesmerized with the remarkable and unique beauty and talent of Filipinos in the astonishing production number of Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner up Ariella Arida, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, and Miss International 2014 Bea Rose Santiago.

Romance is set to fill the air this New Year with the special treat of Kapamilya heartthrobs Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Jericho Rosales, and Jake Cuenca; and the must-see performance of the ASAP boy group ‘Gimme 5’ composed of Nash Aguas, Brace Arquiza, Joaquin Reyes, John Bermundo, and Grae Fernandez.
