The much-awaited wedding proposal of Marco (Richard Gomez) to Emily (Dawn Zulueta) in ABS-CBN’s top-rating drama series “Walang Hanggan” recently made TV viewers fall in love again with the timeless Richard-Dawn onscreen partnership.

Based on the data of Kantar Media last Monday (September 24), the said episode of “Walang Hanggan” garnered 36.6% national TV ratings, compared to its rival program in GMA “Luna Blanca” which only got 16.1%.

Aside from the ratings, the hashtag #WalangHanggan also became a nationwide trending topic in the popular microblogging site Twitter due to the numerous tweets of TV viewers about the touching scene between Marco and Emily. The Twitter timeline were flooded with positive tweets like: “@PrincessBeron: I forgot that the scenes during the proposal were scripted.
