90's actor and heartthrob Patrick Guzman died due to heart attack on Friday, June 16, 2023. He was 55 years old.

The sad news was confirmed by his wife Liezle via an interview.

Celebrities and former co-workers of Patrick expressed their sadness and mourn in social media sharing their photos and best memories with Patrick.

Ogie Alcasid on his Instagram and twitter accounts shared a black and white group photo of him with Patrick together with Anjo Yllana and Michael V.  The photo was during their photo shoot for a blockbuster hit movie "Mama's Boys 2" under Octoarts Film. Here is the said photo:

Ogie and Patrick were doing various films together in the 90's. They were even together in some of the TV shows back then.

Eagle Riggs posted on his official Facebook account his photos and best memories with the actor. Eagle and Patrick worked together in the 90's ABS-CBN game show "Ready Get Set Go" along side Eric Quizon, Michael V., and Eula Valdez.

The veteran actress, director, and acting coach Beverly Vergel via her Instagram account posted throwback photos with her and the late actor. She recalled the moments they filmed the movie "BROmance" in 2019 which was also the last movie of Patrick.

Beverly also posted on her IG a group photo of them together with Patrick's wife Liezle, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta and daughter KC Concepcion. That was taken during Sharon and KC's visit to Toronto, Canada for a concert.

Patrick and Sharon also worked together in different movies during the 90's. In fact, Patrick was Sharon's co-host in her Sunday night variety show "The Sharon Cuneta Show."  The Megastar also expressed her mourn in social media over the passing of the actor.

Meanwhile, Patrick's contemporary Dale Villar via an interview recalled his showbiz days with Patrick.

Patrick is 8 years older than Dale. They also worked together in various films in the past. One of these movies was "Ikaw Ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko" with Andrew E. and Nino Muchlach.

Dale said that Patrick was his opposite. He was his counterpart. Both of them started and ended their careers at the same time. And both of them migrated - Patrick in Canada while Dale in the USA.

Dale further shared that Patrick is his 'twin brother' in showbiz. They are almost alike in many ways. And they were both 'bulol' in Tagalog!

Dale also recalled that he and Patrick were almost pitted as rivals back in the 90's because of TV networks' rival. Both of them were hosting variety shows - Dale was a co-host of GMA-7's "Vilma" while Patrick was co-hosting "Sharon" in ABS-CBN 2.

Aside from Dale, other celebrities like Amy Perez, Gelli De Belen, Michael V., Dennis Padilla, and Dingdong Avanzado also paid tribute to Patrick.

Now based in Toronto, Canada, Patrick Guzman was known in the different 90's movies like "Koronang Itim" (1994), "Ikaw Ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko" (1994), and "Sa Piling Ng Iba" (1998). He was also the leading man of Sharon Cuneta in three of her movies namely "Una Kang Naging Akin" (1991), "Ikaw" (1993), and "Kung Ako Nalang Sana" (2003).
