She is now better known as Emilia Ardiente Torilio, the nemesis of Ivy Agua / Lily Cruz in the hit Kapamilya Primetime TV series "Wildflower." She is hated and loved by the viewers and netizens at the same time! Her words and actions in the series were truly remarkable. No doubt why Aiko Melendez is hailed as the Kontrabida of the Year here in our very own The 8TH TV Series Craze Awards 2017.
Playing the character of Emilia, Aiko shows her versatility as an actress. Yes, she can be a bida and kontrabida at the same time. She acts naturally with a great impact. "Maiinis at matutuwa ka sa kanya at the same time!" What more, her catfights and confrontation scenes with Maja Salvador truly excites the viewers!
Aiko's character in "Wildflower" adds more thrill and spice in the story. She truly deserve this award! Actually prior to this recognition, Aiko already received an acting award in the 2017 PMPC Star Awards for TV because of her undeniable acting prowess playing the character of Emilia.
