DanRich's Teleserye "Be My Lady" is One of the Most Successful TV Series of 2016

Having aired for more than ten months, the top-rating and social media-trending ABS-CBN morning series “Be My Lady” has truly resonated with the Filipino audience and is about to end its run as one of the most successful television series of 2016.

Since January, BMLovers have tuned in to the love story of Phil (Daniel Matsunaga) and Pinang (Erich Gonzales) and followed their journey to forever. Despite being pitted against various rival shows, “Be My Lady” has remained the daytime program of choice by most Filipinos. It is also one of the most watched programs on weekdays according to Kantar Media.

The show is also well-received by netizens and is consistently on the list of trending topics on Twitter.  It also introduced the viral “Tatlong Bibe” song craze.

But more than the ratings, social media trends, and kilig it offers, “Be My Lady” has captivated viewers because of its valuable lessons on love and family. Phil and Pinang’s love proved that culture is not a hindrance to having a long-lasting relationship. The Crisostomo family, meanwhile, exhibited strength and unity during rough times. Pinang, on the other hand, showed that everyone can reach their dreams with perseverance.

“I am really grateful and blessed to be part of this wonderful show. We’ve received feedback about how ‘Be My Lady’ brings families together every morning and that inspires us to do better. We feel that having been on-air for this long is not just a measure of success but also a tremendous honor and blessing,” said Erich.

“We really want you to have a show that is very positive, full of good values, God-centered and family-oriented. We are very happy that we were able to inspire people,” added Daniel.

Because of its positive influence on its audience, the series has earned recognition from the Catholic Mass Media Awards as this year’s Best Drama Series for its efforts to promote good values and quality entertainment to viewers.

Foreign viewers will also get to enjoy Pinang and Phil’s feel-good story as “Be My Lady” is slated to air in Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and Africa next year.

As the story comes to its final stretch next week, tune in as Phil and Pinang start their journey as husband and wife. What struggles will the newlyweds face? Will they be able to fulfill their vow of being together through good and bad times?
