Kapuso hunk actor Tom Rodriguez will return very soon in Primetime playing another exciting role in GMA Telebabad. This time, he will play the character of Sergio Santibanez, the love interest of "Marimar."
Yes, Tom will be the leading man of Megan Young who will play as the new "Marimar" in the 2015's version of the hit Mexican telenovela.
Tom who is also a product of ABS-CBN's reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" (2009) instantly rose in fame when he transfered to GMA-7 and played a married gay man in the hit provocative teleserye "My Husband's Lover" in 2013 pairing him to Dennis Trillo.
In the original Mexican version of "Marimar" with the Mexican superstar Thalia in the title role which hit the country way back in 1996, it was the Mexican hunk actor Eduardo Capetillo who portrayed the character of Sergio. Remember his remarkable hairy chest?!
Then in 2007 when the Kapuso network made their first very own adaptation of the said TV series with Marian Rivera in the lead role, it was Dingdong Dantes who played Sergio.
Now this year, Tom will set Primetime on fire as he reprise the role of Sergio pairing him for the first time with Megan. Do you think Tom can surpass Eduardo and Dingdong, the previous actors who portrayed Sergio in terms of acting and hotness?! Does the character of Sergio fits to Tom?!
