MMFF 2014 Winners: "Bonifacio" and "English Only Please" Lead!



The historical-action drama "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo" starring Robin Padilla and the romance-comedy "English Only Please"  led by Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay received the majority of awards including the 1st and 2nd Best Pictures in the recently concluded awards night of the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival which took place at the PICC, Pasay City.

"Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2" on the other hand got the 3rd Best Picture award.

Jennylyn and Derek who were both the lead stars of "English Only Please" took the Best Actress and the Best Actor Awards respectively.
