The stars of the top-rating kiddie gag show “Goin’ Bulilit” not only perform well in front of the camera, but they also excel in their respective schools. In fact some of these kids are honor students this year.
Leading “Goin’ Bulilits’” cream of the crop is Angel Sy who recently graduated elementary as a salutatorian. She was also hailed Best in English, in Music, Arts and Physical Education (Mape) and Filipino
Sofia del Puerto, on the other hand, received the Excellence in Academics, Best in Math and Performing Arts awards, while Bea Basa got a Medal of Good Performance from her school.
Miguel de Guzman proved he is also a born leader as he was awarded Most Outstanding Platoon Leader in his Cub Scout group.
All these recognitions only justify that “Goin’ Bulilit” kids are not only focused on their careers, but also on their student lives. They also believe that education is something that couldn’t be stolen from them, so they work hard for it.
Meanwhile, this Sunday on “Goin’ Bulilit,” funny scenes on buying and receiving “pasalubongs” will be shown. A music video spoof of Charice Pempengco’s “Louder” will also be presented by the kids.
Goin’ Bulilit is part of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. It doesn’t only entertain and educate its young viewers with its values-oriented, child-friendly programs, but supports their dreams and aspirations as well.
