CALISTA Headlines ‘VAX TO NORMAL’ Concert in Smart Araneta Coliseum

It's official. The country’s hottest international pop (I-Pop) girl group, Calista, headlines “Vax to Normal,” the much-anticipated concert of the year. “Vax to Normal” is happening on April 26, 2022 (6 p.m.) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. 

Calista, the concert’s main star, is composed of six multi-talented members: Olive, Laiza, Anne, Denise, Elle, and Dain. They are managed by Tyronne Escalante Artist Management (TEAM) and produced by Merlion Events Production Inc. The group released their debut single, “Race Car” giving the press an exclusive preview of the music on March 8, 2022, in time for the celebration of the International Women’s Day.

Slated to perform at “Vax to Normal” are Yeng Constantino, AC Bonifacio, Elmo Magalona, Andrea Brillantes, Darren Espanto, and Ken San Jose. The concert will be telecast on TV5 at 9 p.m. Merlion Events Production Inc. will be producing the concert while Nico Faustino will be directing the event. Dance icon Nesh Janiola choreographed the production numbers with the help of musical director Soc Mina.

As the name suggests, “Vax to Normal” is a tribute concert for the country’s frontliners, especially healthcare workers who are in the forefront of the fight against COVID-19. The concert heralds the return of the country back to normal.

“We’re slowly working our way back to how things were before the pandemic. And this wouldn’t have been possible if not for our brave frontliners. They deserve all the praise, and this is our way of saying thanks. It’s been a tough two years, and we think it’s important to hold events like this concert to spread hope,” shares Anne, the team leader of Calista.
