South Korean variety TV Show, "Running Man", will hold an online fan meeting via  TikTok, the world's leading short-form mobile videos, on September 5. The SBS variety show, "Running Man", has gained massive popularity worldwide since its first broadcast in 2010. Since 2013, Running Man members have been visiting their fans overseas with fan meets and various performances.

Running Man's overseas fan meetings and performances have been populsar in many regions like Southeast Asia. Previous fan meetings have been successful such as the Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam event in December 2019 and the Manila fan meeting which had to be rescheduled due to the COVID 19 outbreak. However, despite the hurdles, the Manila fan meeting is still recognized as one of the best K-performances, selling out tickets within one hour of going on sale. 

 
The "Running Man 2021 Online Fan Meeting" will be planned and produced by NP C&C, a subsidiary of NPInc., a brand experience content solutions company, and will be held at NP XR STAGE. The fan meeting will also be broadcasted live on the global short-form mobile video platform, TikTok.

Jay Bae, head of global business development at TikTok Korea told, "TikTok's paid live feature was first introduced in May and we have received positive feedback as well as meaningful results afterwards, including Lotte Duty Free Online Family Concert, Beautiful Mint Life 2021, and FOREST 21 Epik High Concert. TikTok will continue to make efforts to provide better customer experiences to domestic and foreign users."

"Running Man 2021 Online Fan Meeting" will open tickets through SM Tickets and various overseas ticket companies at 12PM (PST) on July 16. These are exciting times for GMA Artist Center as they enlist Mr.Johnny Manahan, known starmaker and pillar to the Philippine industry, as their newest consultant.  

Mr. M sat on a panel with GMA executives and directors to screen talents.

Less than a week after being introduced as GMA Artist Center's new consultant, Johnny Manahan, better known as the starmaker Mr M., has already begun one of his main tasks, that is to help the agency discover promising new talents.

As a talent agency, GMA Artist Center has discovered and honed several of the network's talents who have made names for themselves as actors, and endorsers, singers.

When the pandemic started in March 2020, GMA Artist Center immediately shifted to hold online auditions via its official website.


 
For the first time, Mr. M sat on the screening panel for this week's auditions. Always present during these auditions are GMA executives, GMA Entertainment directors, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Managers, GMA Artist Center's Talent Development team, and GMA Artist Center's Talent Recruitment team.

At first glance, it’s easy to mistake A Girl and A Guy as a typical coming-of-age romance film sprinkled with a few risque scenes for good measure. But digging deeper into UPSTREAM’s first original film in partnership with GMovies, important stories about relationships, career, growing up, and navigating life in the middle of a pandemic were also told. Young people (and even those young at heart) can take away plenty of realizations and insights about themselves and their relationships from the film and here are just four of them:



Live at your own pace

As Raf said, “Life is not a race, but a maze.” Oftentimes, the discontent that most people feel about their lives is a result of comparing themselves to others. Just like Fiona, most of us tend to base our success with what our peers have achieved and then feel like we’re not doing enough when we realize we are not at par with what they have.

This kind of mindset is counterproductive and will only lead to insecurities you never knew you had. Instead of dwelling on other’s lives, know who you really are and remind yourself that each one of us has our own pace and timing in life – you just have to continue working hard and growing to be one step closer to your goals.

Make mistakes (and learn from them)

Young people are afraid to make mistakes due to fear of disappointing their parents and worse, themselves. However, we often forget that mistakes usually happen when one chooses to grow and go beyond their comfort zone by meeting new people, pursuing their hearts’ desires, and embracing change. So make mistakes, but remember to always learn from them and use these experiences to build a better you.




Online friends can be for keeps
 
In the era of social media and dating apps, meeting new people has become as easy as clicking “send” or swiping right. With the pandemic limiting us from interacting with our friends, these platforms have made it convenient to make new ones virtually.

This leads people to think that relationships and friendships formed online are just fleeting and will not withstand time and distance. While that may be true for some cases, there are also many internet friendships that transcends IRL (in real life), so don’t be afraid to make friends online. Just like in any relationship, communication is always the key for lasting connections.

You are what you love, not who loves you

Being young and falling in love is a beautiful thing, but heartbreaks can also be equally messy, especially in this generation. A Girl and A Guy reminds its viewers how their failed relationships do not define them in any way as a lover, and more importantly, as a person. No matter how many exes you have (or lack thereof), it shouldn’t say anything about how you should be viewed by others and how you view yourself.

Society has the tendency to dictate young people how and who to love based on its norms and standards. This film tells us to F with it and love whichever way and whoever person you want to.

Newest Kapuso actress Pokwang finally appears on her first drama stint in GMA's top-rating drama-anthology, "Magpakailanman" (MPK).

At first glance, one would think that Helen has no problem. She is always cheerful and funny.But behind her smiles and laughter, she hides her real dilemmas in life.

Her eldest has been bedridden due to Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, and her husband has already given up his goal of working abroad for fear of being away from them.

So in order to pay for the lifetime medical care of her eldest son,and to support the education of her other child,Helen has tried various legal rackets, sold everything that could be sold,and searched the whole town just to borrow money.
