Legendary stories of friendship and courage await anime fans on Hero TV this April as it welcomes three new shows, “Samurai X OVA 1: Trust & Betrayal,” “Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn” and “Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 3rei!,” all with exciting characters facing their toughest journeys in their own worlds.

In “Samurai X OVA 1: Trust & Betrayal,” a young boy named Shinta is saved from death by a passing swordsman known as Hiko Seijūrō. A master of the Hiten Mitsurugi—the strongest of all sword forms—Hiko takes Shinta as an apprentice and renames him "Kenshin", a name which he felt was more appropriate for a swordsman. After years of training, Kenshin leaves his master to prove that the only way to uphold the Hiten Mitsurugi's pledge to help the weak and innocent is to join the revolution poised to upend the Tokugawa chaos. He soon becomes a hardened killer, feared far and wide as the Hitokiri Battōsai.

Surge to an era of cyborgs and autonomous robots in “Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn” where major world powers compete for technology and resources and direly affect future of the poor. In this transitional stage, Nene and Clarion, two cybernetically enhanced girls, meet to change the fate of mankind for all eternity.

Meanwhile, Illya and the gang are back in “Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 3rei!” where their vacation hopes for the summer shatters when an all-too-unrealistic silhouette appears. The team then investigates the strange event at Mount Enzou, but after a short skirmish, the entire space ends up being warped. Illya wakes up in a wintry Fuyuki City in a parallel world.

Get into time adventures Mondays to Fridays in “Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn,” 6PM starting April 21, and “Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 3rei!!,” 10PM starting April 28. Catch the legendary swordsman in “Samurai X OVA 1: Trust & Betrayal” on April 23 and 30, 9PM on HERO Theatrixx.

Other anime series to return this season are “Kuroko’s Basketball S3,” “Fate/Kaleid Liner Prismma Illya 2wei!,” “Code Geass Akito The Exiled 4,” “Captain Earth,” “Gourmet Gril Graffiti,” and “Ouran High School Host Club.”
