#KimXi: Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's "Must Date the Playboy" Intensifies the Digital TV




Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s “Must Date The Playboy,” the country’s first-ever movie produced for mobile, will be the banner offering of the Kapamilya Box Office as it airs on digital TV via ABS-CBN TVplus this weekend (Aug 20-21) as part of ABS-CBN’s effort to intensify content offerings on digital TV as ABS-CBN transitions into a digital company.

The ABS-CBNmobile original rom-com revolves around Zach (Xian Lim), a certified playboy who goes around breaking hearts. When Chloe (Jessy Mendiola), his current girlfriend, sees him dancing with another girl, Chloe decides to get even with Zach through a cunning plan –make Zach date her best friend Tori (Kim Chiu) to teach him a lesson. 

On top of the KimXi starrer, the Kapamilya Box Office will also feature box-office Pinoy horror movies  “Haunted Mansion” starring Janella Salvador and Mario Mortel; “Shake, Rattle, and Roll 15” starring Erich Gonzales, Carla Abellana, and Lovi Poe; and two Hollywood films “Doomsday” and “The Hurt Locker.” Memorable “MMK” episodes starring John Lloyd Cruz and Jericho Rosales and a “Dolce Amore” marathon will also be showcased.

The Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) is the newest feature of ABS-CBN TVplus that allows families to have more TV bonding moments at home via commercial-free weekend movie marathons for P30. Movies airing on KBO can also be seen via iWant TV on ABS-CBNmobile.

To know the seven-character box ID, press the INFO button of the TVplus remote control. Once a text confirmation is received, press SCAN on the TVplus remote control to activate KBO on the ABS-CBN TVplus’ 7th channel.  For remote controls without a SCAN button, press the MAIL button. KBO logo will be displayed on the 7th channel after scanning.

For users who don’t have an ABS-CBNmobile prepaid SIM, the SIM is available in any SM store, 7-Eleven branch, telco tiangge, and the ABS-CBNmobile store priced at P30. Users may also order through text by sending SIM DELIVERY to 23661.

All ABS-CBN TVplus boxes priced at P1,999 are bundled with an ABS-CBNmobile prepaid SIM and are available in any accredited retail outlets, sales agents, and dealers.

Meanwhile, load for ABS-CBNmobile is available in SM Store, SM Savemore, 7-Eleven, Cebuana Lhuillier, Generika at sari-sari stores or telco tiangges na may autoload max.

The Kapamilya Box Office of ABS-CBN TVplus is available in in GMA, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Benguet, Metro Cebu, Davao City, and Cagayan de Oro.
