Teen King and Queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo continue to keep their fans glued to their TV sets every night as viewers recently witnessed the first kiss of their characters Angelo (Daniel) and Yna (Kathryn) in ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime drama series “Pangako Sa’yo.”

According to data from Kantar Media last Monday (August 24), “Pangako Sa’yo’s” ‘Unang Halik’ episode scored a national TV rating of 33.2%, which is more than twice the rating of its rival program on GMA, “Beautiful Strangers” (15.9%).

Aside from TV ratings, the said episode of Daniel and Kathryn’s drama series also took Twitter by storm as the hashtag #PSYUnangHalik became a worldwide trending topic after reaching 2.1 million mentions.

Meanwhile, more viewers will surely get hooked on “Pangako Sa’yo” now that Angelo and Yna have confessed their feelings to one another.
