night of the recently concluded 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards by
the Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation to receive her acting
trophy.
The actress was escorted by her real-life boyfriend Phil Younghusband who walked with her in the red carpet.

Angel’s co-actress Angelica Panganiban also got the same title while their leading man Dingdong Dantes grabbed the Film Actor of the Year category.
The event took place on May 19, 2013 at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The whole program will be aired on May 26 in ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best primetime block.
