'One More Try,' Dingdong Dantes, and Nora Aunor Win the Major Awards, 2012 MMFF Winners Revealed!

The  2012 Metro Manila Film Festival awards night was just recently concluded! And the list of winners from the eight film entries has been revealed!

 "One More Try,"  the Star Cinema's entry to the festival received the Best Picture award while its male lead cast Dingdong Dantes won the Best Actor award and "Thy Womb" lead star Nora Aunor is this year's Best Actress!


The historical action-drama "El Presidente: The Emilio Aguinaldo Story" starring George Estregan was the most awarded movie of the year but was only snatched the Second Best Picture award.

The 38TH MMFF awards night took place at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas, Pasig City, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 6pm and was hosted by Kris Aquino and KC Concepcion. A delayed telecast was aired in TV5.
