Yup, you heard it right! Ms. Angel Locsin officially joins the hit Saturday sitcom of ABS-CBN "Toda Max!" And starting this Saturday, December 10, 2011, she is a regular mainstay joining Vhong Navarro and Robin Padilla!
Angel started as a guest star during the pilot episode of the said sitcom. She is playing Isabel Padausdos, the girlfriend of Justin Bibo (Vhong Navarro).
With her previous appearance in the sitcom, Angel has proven that her gift in acting is not only limited to primetime action, drama, or fantasy teleseryes and romantic movies. She can also shine in comedy!
Actually, "Toda Max" will be the second time around that Angel will work with Robin Padilla. We may recall that Angel and Robin were paired in GMA-7's action-fantasy TV series "Asian Treasure" way back in 2007. That was the last teleserye of Angel in Kapuso network before transferring to the Kapamilya!
Meanwhile, this is the very first tandem of Angel and Vhong! We may even recall that Angel and Vhong were supposed to be paired in the ABS-CBN defunct fantaserye "Kokey @ Ako" in 2010. But due to some reasons, their supposed to be team-up was postponed and Vhong was paired to Toni Gonzaga!
