In this trailer, it emphasize the love story of Maria La Del Barrio and Luis Fernando. It shows how their love affair started and undergone different twists. Of course, the third party who is the villain Soraya Montoya is also shown. We also see how Soraya will make the life of our bida Maria La Del Barrio miserable.
The playdate of this much-anticipated Mexiconovela remake is set this Summer. It is part of ABS-CBN's Bida Best teleserye lineup for the second quarter of 2011.
Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, and Paw Diaz will be the local versions of Maria La Barrio (or Mariang Taga-Barrio), Luis Fernando, and Soraya Montoya. The original character of Maria La Del Barrio was portrayed by Thalia while Luis Fernando was Fernando Colunga. The original version was a big hit in 1997 and was aired in RPN-9.
Rory B. Quintos is the director of this new TV series. The rest of the characters was not yet shown. And the theme song of this Philippine version is not yet revealed. Everybody is excited for it!
