Aljur Abrenica is the New 'Machete'!

GMA-7 will bring back the story of a wooden hunk statue called "Machete"! And they recently announced via "Showbiz Central" that the Kapuso hunk actor Aljur Abrenica will portray the role in their Telebabad block next year!

Dingdong Dantes was also considered to play the said role. But later on they gave the role to Aljur! Even Cesar Montano who first played the role of "Machete" in the 1990 Seiko Films movie agrees that Aljur is perfect to reprise the said role!

Aljur is very happy to hear that he was chosen to play the role. He is even ready to bare his sexy hot body and do many bed scenes with his leading ladies just like the former actors of it did before!

"Machete" is actually a comic story created by Pablo S. Gomez. Mr. Cesar Montano was the first to portray the said role in its first movie version in 1990 wherein Ms. Rita Avila played as his leading lady.

In 1994, Seiko Films once again produced the second "Machete" movie with a sexy genre. This time, it was the hunk Gardo Versoza played the role. Ms. Rosanna Roces was Gardo's leading lady. This marked the rise of the sexy bold movies in 90's. Rosanna Roces became the sexy movie goddess and Gardo Versoza also dubbed as the bold movie king during that time!

In 2005, ABS-CBN showed the first "Machete" version on TV via a "Komiks Presents" episode. Joseph Bitangcol played the role of "Machete" while Sandara Park is his leading lady.

Then in 2006, Derek Ramsay briefly played the role of "Machete" in ABS-CBN's fantaserye "Super Inggo"!

Now in 2011, Aljur will comprise the role of the new "Machete"! Do you think Aljur is perfect and pitted for the role? And who do you think will be Aljur's leading lady in this new TV series?! Well, we'll see! It's gonna be another sizzling hot TV series on Primetime this could be! Good luck Aljur! Nice one! We're excited for this! Very hot! C",)
