For the first time, GMA-7's rising star Glaiza De Castro and Geoff Eigenmann will be teamed-up in a new fantasy series! It has a working title of "Glazilda"!This will be Glaiza's first starring role in a Primetime TV series! Although we all know that Glaiza already stared in a Sinenovela before called "Kaputol Nang Isang Awit" and played kontrabida roles in "Stairway To Heaven" and "Diva", this will launch her as TV series leading lady. And this will also remove her from being a type-cast character actress.
"Glazilda" is the so-called new "Cinderella"! Glaiza will be playing Glazilda! And Geoff will be her leading man.
Meanwhile talking about Geoff Eigenmann, this is also the first time that Geoff will be working with her real-life auntie! Yup, Geoff will be working together with her Aunt Cherie Gil in this new fantaserye!
Other cast lineups will be new Kapuso stars Gwen Agnese as Cinderella while Benedict Campos is cast as Prince Charming. Dyanin Cruz is Anastasya, the returning Yasmien Kurdi will play Tonette, while Stef Prescott will play Jinggay. Veteran actors Rio Locsin and Joel Torre were also in the casts. Even Ms. Jolina Magdangal is said to play as the fairy god mother!
