From Paris with love...!

Truly romance will bloom the second time around in Paris up to our TV but now in Pinoy flavor!

So, let us meet the new love triangle that we used to love before. In a brand new personalities, in Filipino taste, let us take a look at them:
Piolo Pascual as Carlo

KC Concepcion as Vivian

Zanjoe Marudo as Martin

Well, if you miss the "Tayong Dalawa" love triangle JR, Audrey, and Dave, here's now the new love triangle that will truly captures your heart! A love triangle made in Paris!

Carlo, Vivian, and Martin...three persons trapped in love in the city of love and Romance, Paris! This is the new love triangle that will heat up in love, fun, and excitement your Primetime Bida nights! c",)

"Sobrang ganda at kakakilig ang pilot episode...!"

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! An awesome start!

Well, these maybe some of the fews words you may say about the pilot episode of this crazy cool light romance Koreanovela revival of ABS-CBN 2 "Lovers In Paris"! At its very beginning tonight, it again proves how great this Pinoy version was!

After ABS-CBN made a very successful Koreanovela remakes (note that ABS-CBN was the first network to make Koreanovela revival which is "My Girl" last 2008) such as "My Girl" and "Only You", now here they come again to produce the third one which is "Lovers In Paris"!
To give you a quick background and a slight flashback, "Lovers In Paris" is a hit Koreanovela series which dominates the Philippine TV last 2004! I exactly remember the date, it was October of 2004! Yeah, the original "Lovers In Paris" was aired by ABS-CBN in October 2004 which replaced the first ever fantaserye on TV "Marina"!

Right after the fight of two fantaseryes "Mulawin" versus "Marina", "Mulawin" then faced "Lovers In Paris"! And "Lovers In Paris" truly made a remarkable smash hit on TV defeating its other counterparts!

I also remember Ms. Annabelle Rama saying, "hindi pupunta ang mga ibon sa Paris"! in a showbiz talkshow! This then happened when "Lovers In Paris" beat "Mulawin" in the TV rating game!

Did you also remember that the two main Korean casts of the original series visited our country!? Just then proves how great and how hit it made to Philippine TV!

Now on our very own revival, the pilot episode tonight again proves another remarkable hit!

Besides the place, Paris France which shows a very beautiful and nice place, the casts are also great!

KC Concepcion on her very first starrer on Primetime TV Series shows a very good acting! Being Vivian whom we all know 'kalog', 'makulit', poor in wealth but hardworking, KC portrays this role with greatness and at her best! I like the way she portrays Vivian here!

Piolo Pascual on the other hand as Carlo who is rich, neat, handsome, and educated guy perfectly fits the role! He then gives a judgement to this role!

Well, though not yet seen in the pilot episode, Zanjoe Marudo as Martin who is a 'rocker', road guy, and happy-go lucky person is best for his role! He has a great resemblance and similarity with the original Korean Martin!

And of course, the plot of the story is great! It is past-pacing! It didn't start longer on the young Vivian! From childhood Vivian up to Vivian in Paris, then she alreay meet Carlo comprised the pilot episode!

What a very very good start! I know more and more exciting scenes and chapters will come along the way on the suceeding episodes! 'KUDOS' Kapamilya! Nice one again! c",)

It’s not the amount of money that counts but the genuine concern to help people that matters. Nevertheless, it’s interesting to note how big stars get big amounts from their talent fees to donate to the typhoon victims.

Typhoon Ondoy brought havoc in Mega Manila last Saturday leaving thousands homeless because of the worst flood that it caused.

Both ABS-CBN and GMA-7 held a telethon to raise funds for the typhoon victims. A number of stars volunteered for the two telethons in their gesture to lend a helping hand.

According to reports, the current Darna star Marian Rivera has donated P100,000 to the Kapuso Foundation yesterday for the typhoon Ondoy victims.

On the other hand, the former Darna star Angel Locsin has donated a whopping P500,000.00 for the typhoon victims. And since she is not busy with a tv or movie project at the moment, Angel reportedly roved the streets of the Metro to personally ask for more donations for the typhoon victims.

The two Darna stars have proven that they are not only heroes on the tv screen but also heroes in real life. Regardless of the amount that they have donated, the two stars truly shown a gesture of concern to the people who admires them, specially the “masa”, and that’s the more important thing.

A combination of action and drama started its ending. Of course forgiveness and new life to all the casts specially to Ramon serenade its finale.

We couldn't expect that in the end, Ramon ask for forgiveness and welcomes a new life for him! He started saying "sorry" to the departed love ones like to Greta, Lola Gets, and Audrey! What more is that he paved the way to captured the terrorist gang as well his other bad members! He get back in her mother arms Marlene.

So sad and so brutal the story for him! Ramon lost his eyesight after Ingrid shot him! In prison since he was sentenced to a life-time imprisonment, he started for a new life together with his brothers Dave and JR and with his mother Marlene!

For the two David Garcia JR twins Dave and JR, they still moving on with their new lives in absence of their beloved Audrey and with the presence of their new born son Adrian!

Adrian after months was baptised in the story!

On the other hand, the wicked kontrabida Ingrid was then totally became insane. She was arrested by the policemen after shooting Ramon!

Though many main characters in the story died, the rest continue moving on with their lives. Marlene had their three sons back. Their relationship with one another strengthen!

There was another twist presented at the end of this TV series! At the end, Rosanna Roces appeared together with Enchong Dee. She presented to Marlene her son named David Anthony Garcia! The third David Garcia! Oooops...is there a book 2 for "Tayong Dalawa" ?! Well, it's an open ended-story! We'll gonna see!

Congrats "Tayong Dalawa" and ABS-CBN for an excellent teleserye like this! 'Till the next great TV series! c",)

"The second to the last episode of Tayong Dalawa was able to topple Darna from the top spot of AGB Mega Manila tv ratings.

The pre-finale episode of the ABS-CBN teleserye received a 36.4% rating which is good enough to top the primetime race in Mega Manila. Darna, on the other hand, received 35.4% last night that it settled for second place in AGB’s top 10 programs in the primetime block.

This is the very first time that GMA’s Darna lost the no. 1 position in Mega Manila."

Audrey, Kim Chiu's character in the No. 1 Hit TV series "Tayong Dalawa" died last night!

After giving birth to their first son and detecting that she has a heart problem putting her life in a very stiff or a very little chance of survival, Audrey passed away!

At first after she gave birth in the hospital, we all thought that she already recovered since her child and herself survived. But just last night, after I opened my TV in my mobile phone in the bus going to my office, I was shocked to see the whole cast wearing black and crying! Even her jailed father was there in the funeral crying and begging for forgiveness!

Meanwhile her husband JR (played by Gerald Anderson) couldn't accept that Audrey already passed away! He was still on the state of denial!
This episode, the second to the last night was the saddest! Scenes were very emotional! You could truly cry and feel the emotional situations!

Even the way Audrey die was really a dramatic one! Imagine, we all expect that she will die in the hospital after giving birth, but then she passed away in their home falling down in the floor! She can even say goodbye and gave the necklace to JR! It was a totally crying-out loud moment!

Well, this maybe just one of the remarkable ending we can expect for this hit series! We can expect more and more unexpected and truly exciting scenes tomorrow on its final day, the much awaited ending! So again, be there for the final episode, the ending that we should not miss! Condolence to the Garcia family!!

Former stars of the Philippine version of "All About Eve" Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado back again in another drama series but this time on the afternoon daytime TV series. And also they have two separate projects.

Iza Calzado is the lead star in the GMa-7's Sinenovela Presents: "Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit"! On the other hand, Sunshine Dizon stars "Tinik Sa Aking Dibdib" which again another TV remake.
As seen on the trailers, the two stars seem changing their roles! Yeah, we all know that Sunshine Dizon always takes the kontrabida character while Iza Calzado as always the bida! But now, a new twist with their respective roles.

The role of Iza on her soap seems a bit kontabida! She possess an ambitious character and some of the traits and characters of the kontrabida!

Meanwhile Sunshine on her new project portrays a too kind or an api-apihan role!

This could be the first time we could watch both Iza and Sunshine in an afternoon TV series since we always see them on Primetime. I didn't exactly know why they were put on the afternoon slots and in a back-to-back timeslot?! Well then, let's see the acceptance of viewers to their switch roles as well as their afternoon slot!

Up to its second to the final week, 'Tayong Dalawa' still registers the highest TV rating in the Nationwide viewers!

Aside from this Kapamilya TV series as well as its other TV shows garnered the top spots either on Primetime or Daytime race. Here is the result for this coverage's survey:

After their blockbuster hit movie "And I Love You So", Bea Alonzo and Sam Milby were again back but now in the Sunday afternoon romance TV series.
Yup, they were this month's feature in ABS-CBN's Your Song Presents . The mini-series features the new love song revival of Christian Bautista (Jose Mari Chan Original) while the title of their story is "Someone To Love"! This will start on Sunday right after ASAP 09.
Seeing the trailer in Channel 2, the story is such a cool light romance! Sam and Bea work in the same office. I think Sam Milby is the boss of Bea Alonzo. Both of them were looking for someone to love until they realize that they were falling in-love with one another!

On their TV series, they also look brand new! New haircut for Sam Milby while a long straight hair for Bea Alonzo! Truly different with their personality in the movie.

Hmmm...I can't wait to see them together on TV. Though its only a month long series, I assure that viewers will enjoy their crazy cool love story! Well, well, well, they will then put a colorful fun romance in your bored Sunday afternoon. Let's all reserve our seats this coming Sunday for Your Song Presents: "Someone To Love"!. Not just the story, the cast, but the theme song as well...you will truly enjoy and get inlove with! c",)
For those Jen-Mark fanatics, here is their new soap that will reunited them together! This time, they were set on Primetime.
Their reunion tandem started via GMA-7's Sinenovela Presents: "Paano Ba Ang Mangrap"! Afterwards, this Monday, the pilot episode of their new TV series "Ikaw Sana" started and now part of GMA-7's Telebabad.

Their said TV series was set on early Primetime Block (before 24-Oras) and replaced the Aljur Abrenica-Kris Bernal starrer, "All My Life"!

It is again another love story. But this time it is more on a love triangle wherein Paulene Luna is the third party! Again like the good old romance story, its a rug-rich romance! Or maybe a 'Me Against The World' type!

Another thing that I have observed with this series is that the cast seems to be seen long ago in the other TV series of its rival network. Yup! Tirso Cruz III and Maritoni Fernandez, both couple and belongs to a high class family in the recently hit series of ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida "It Might Be You" in 2004 were again paired in this TV series. Same thing, same role the way they do in their former series!

Well, let just then hope that televiewers won't get bored seeing a same menu all over again. Other says the cast were then recycled. But let still see how Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras could beat its rival TV series. Their soap is against ABS-CBN's "Katorse" which recently gained a high rating nationwide! c",)
