After both the two giant networks released their very own Pinoy teleserye line-up for 2010, it's now time to look forward for our favorite Asinovelas!

2009 marked another fever for the new F4. This year was truly an invasion of the Korean F4 via their hit "Boys Over Flowers". Now that 2010 is fast-approaching, do you wonder what are the new Asianovelas to hit our TV screens?!

Well, worry no more as ABS-CBN launched their 2010 Asianovela lineup! I first saw their cute teaser when I visited the Buzz Express blogsite. Here they are:

"My Fair Lady"

"Down With Love"

"He's Beautiful"

After seeing her in the various hit Koreanovelas like "Princess Hours" and "Coffee Prince", Janel is back on another crazy cool TV series. This time, you will see her in the upcoming series named "My Fair Lady"!

Kim Bum really became famous in our country this year. With their smash hit "Boys Over Flowers" and with his commercial joining him with Maja Salvador in a softdrink TV commercial, no one can deny that he is now everyone's favorite! For 2010, you will see another character of Kim Bum as he plays a boxing champion with their series "Dream"! How far can he go just to reach for his dream?!

If the two Asinovelas "Coffee Prince" and "Hana Kimi" were really accepted in our country with the gender issue theme, this coming year, blaze yourself as we see another series synonymous with the previous two hits! A girl will enter into a group composed only of boys in the series called "He's Beautiful"!

And talking about "Hana Kimi" the original Taiwan version, what if the lead star of this chinovela now paired with Taiwan's hottest heartthrob Jerry Yan of "Meteor Garden"? Well, it's gonna be a double fun and 'kilig' in this new series "Down with Love" topbilled with Joey of "Hana Kimi" and Jerry Yan of "Meteor Garden"! Hmmm... I couldn't imagine how cool their tandem will be!

So, can wait to see all your idols back on TV? Are really really excited for these new Asianovela craze this 2010?

Well, you long wait will be over as 1 day to go before 2010! Kim Bum, Jerry Yan, Joey, and Janel will dominate again your Primetime hobby as their new TV series will be seen on the one and only "First and True Home of Asinovela", ABS-CBN! Go, go, go Kapamilya...!!!

Either Kapuso or Kapamilya, both these two networks have something for us! Yup, since both of them recently launched their new TV series lineup for Telebabad and Primetime Bida, our TV series hobby will be more exciting and challenging!

What more exciting and most surprising to see is how they fought for the rating game! After Kapamilya dominated both the Nationwide and Mega Manila rating with their "May Bukas Pa", "Tayong Dalawa", "Katorse", "Boys Over Flowers", "Only You" and "PBB Double-Up" in 2009, is this coming 2010 now for Kapuso?

Well, too early to predict by now unless we already see! The good thing is that both the two networks are competitive enough to give us a brand new soap operas (though some were another remake of the remake) to look for in this coming year!

For now, I could only say, Goodluck Telebabad and Primetime Bida for these new TV series! It's a great salute to our 60 years celebration of Pinoy Soap Opera!!! C",)

Recently, ABS-CBN launched their upcoming teleseryes for 2010 in accordance with their 60 years celebration of Pinoy Soap Opera. Now, it's turn for GMA-7. They already unleashed a teaser with Claudine Barretto's "see you in 2010 mga Kapuso" final word!

Here are the line-up of GMA-7 for their Telebabad block:

After his first TV appearance as Captain Barbel in 2006, Richard Gutierrez will once again fly as "Captain Barbel".

It's another TV series teamup for Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica but this time in telefantasya via "The Last Prince"!

Another telefantasya comeback now for the 4 Sangre in Gma's former hit series "Encantadia", but now they will on their Second Saga. It was rumored that the 4 new goddesses are Rhian Ramos as Amihan (formerly played by Izza Calzado), Glaiza De Castro as Pirena ( formerly played by Sunshine Dizon), Jackie Rice (for the former role of Karylle), and the new female Starstruck V survivor.

Reunion TV series tandem of Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez now with Glaiza De Castro as their kontrabida in a musical-serye, "Diva"!

After ABS-CBN made their TV version of "Panday topbilled by Jericho Rosales in 2005, GMA now do another remake via "Panday Kids" with Jolina Magdangal, JC De Vera, Buboy Villar, Jackie Rice, and Polo Ravales as the main characters!

Another Marian Rivera-Dingdong Dantes tandem in another remake in GMA first hit Koreanovela "Endless Love". They will play Jenny and Johny respectively!

Well, with these new telebabad line-up, are they competitive enough to beat the new TV series of Kapamilya? Are you excited to see them?! Could they be able to save the rating of GMA-7's shows after being dominated by ABS-CBN in 2009? Well, we'll gonna see...!!! c",)
After their first TV series teamup in "Crazy for You" way back in 2005, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano were back in each others' arms every Sunday afternoon via Your Song Presents.

As their new mini-TV series called "My Last Romance", hope that this could not be their last tandem together!

On the series, Luis plays a young painter. Seeing Toni, he painted the lady of her dreams! He eventually fall in love with Toni painting and glancing her from time to time!

Will Toni's character also fall in love with Luis' role?! Or there is another third party people who would hinder them?! Why is it titled as such?! Are their love affairs in the story their final romance?

The said mini-series will start to air on January 3, 2009 right after ASAP. Joining Luis and Toni in the series are Alessandra de Rossi and Ms. Gloria Romero!

ABS-CBN was known as the first home of soap operas or Pinoy TV series. From the very start, all the hit TV series was came to them. Almost all of their stars shine so much after being the lead role in their soap operas!

Well, by next year 2010, it was a grand celebration for ABS-CBN. Next year will be the 60 years of Pinoy Soap Opera. Of course the celebration and the credit will be in their origin!

Here is an article from regarding the 60 Years of Pinoy Soap Opera:

"Have you ever imagined the lives of Filipinos when soap operas did not exist yet? Perhaps, they were clueless of each other’s stories; they did not have vivid hints about the other side of reality and they were naïve on how each life’s characters, big or small, affect the whole account of an individual.

60 years ago, Filipinos were not yet exposed to the reflection of their own lives. Thanks to ABS-CBN for it has pioneered in one of the tools that clearly mirrors the story of each Filipino… the television soap opera.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Pinoy Soap Opera. ABS-CBN, celebrates the legacy that has changed the entertainment scene for six decades while revisiting the history that has become a milestone of today’s showbiz industry.

In 1949, the first radio soap was aired by the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) entitled “Gulong ng Palad.” Research says that during the early development of radio
in the Philippines, the device only catered to music and American propaganda, until “soaps” came into the picture. Originally termed “soap” as it was sponsored by soap manufacturers, it was later on called as “soap opera.”

Soon after, the soap opera’s found a more technically-wise home, the television. ABS-CBN aired the first drama on the tube in 1963, “Hiwaga sa Bahay na Bato.” From then on, dozens of drama have ruled the said medium and have branched out into other kinds which the giant network has also coined: ‘teleserye,’ ‘fantaserye,’ ‘action-serye,’ ‘sineserye’ and ‘Asianovela’.

ABS-CBN’s leadership has remained solid through the years. Part of the celebration, with its aim to continually provide it’s kapamilyas with quality shows reflecting life’s reality, the network will showcase a fresher, newer and more progressive TV program
lineup by 2010.

Celebrate the legacy and relive the history as ABS-CBN commemorates the 60 years of Philippine Soap Opera."

Well, try to imagine our daily life today if Soap Opera didn't exist! Try to see and pros and cons of it! And try to note the beginning of all these things...!!! c",)

The fever is back! This week marked their comeback on Philippine TV... It's one more time for the hit "Boys Over Flowers"!

ABS-CBN once again aired this Koreanovela on their original Primetime Bida slot. Are you ready? Do you watched their pilot episode last night?

So, borrowing this headline from, it says:

"Beginning Monday (Dec 14), Jun Pyo, Ji Hoo, Yi Jeong, Woo Bin, and Jan Di are back on television as they invade your primetime viewings once more with “Boys Over Flowers: One More Time.”

Due to insistent public demand, ABS-CBN replays this hit Korean series which have captivated the hearts of many Asian fans and catapulted the careers of today’s hottest Asian superstars and sought-after endorsers Lee Min-Ho, Kim Hyun-Joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon and Koo Hye-Sun.

Relive the colourful story of Geum Jan Di (Hye-Sun), and reminisce how she has crossed paths with the rich and famous boys of F4 (Flower 4).

Feel the romance all over again and see how she fell in and out of love with F4’s leader Jun Pyo (Min Ho).

To date, “Boys Over Flowers” is still one of the most successful and most top-rating Koreanovela aired on ABS-CBN. It has changed the primetime landscape of the ratings game as it was the only Asian series to have consistently made it to the Top 5 most watched programs nationwide based on TNS surveys.

Don’t miss “Boys Over Flowers: One More Time” starting Monday (Dec 14) after “Pinoy Big Brother Double Up” airing at an earlier time on ABS-CBN."

Starting last Monday, December 14, two hit Asinovelas from two different countries made their comeback on TV.

It was a back to back as in Morning-Night back on back! One made a comeback late in the morning while the other was in the late evening!

The good thing was that these two Asinovelas came back to their two home networks!

What more...a Chinovela for GMA-7 while a hit Koreanovela for ABS-CBN 2. So, both Kapuso and Kapamilya have their owns!

For GMA-7, their former Primetime Chinovela "Fated To Love You (Again)" landed the early afternoon timeslot before "Eat Bulaga".

On the other hand, for ABS-CBN 2, the hottest hit Koreanovela "Boys Over Flowers (One More Time)" finally returned on its original timeslot on Primetime Bida. Right after PBB Double-Up and before SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon), the cutest F4 together with the cool girl Jan Di again heat our TV screens!

So either Kapamilya or Kapuso, both of them will rejoice for the return of these two Asinovelas! Which one will you choose? Or will you prefer to watch them both! c",)
The fight between these two Koreanovela series heats up even in their final nights.

Here are the ratings received by the two koreanovela remakes from Tuesday to Thursday:

STH – 25%
LIP – 29.5%

STH – 25.4%
LIP – 30.6%

STH – 26.6%
LIP – 31.5%

Both programs have increased their ratings as they head toward the finale episode on Friday, but of course, Lovers in Paris fared higher than Stairway to Heaven because TNS national survey is ABS-CBN’s turf.

Two nights to go before the finale...!!! But as this Pinoy remake of the hit Koreanovela approaches its ending, more mysteries were revealed and more tragedies were gradually happening on the main cast!

Well, expect the unexpected in the end as this TV series termed as the "love story na walang ka-Paris" concluded this coming Friday. According to them, the ending of this Pinoy version is really, really different from the original!

Can we expect a happy ending or a tragic one?!

Last night, we all witnessed the mystery behind the VHS tape. This VHS tape of Vivian's father Mac was now converted in a CD format so that together with Martin, Michelle, Vivian and her niece and uncle, they were able to watch the video.

Shocking to see that the content of the CD was the actual footage of Chairman with his two friends who dropped Carlo's young father in the sea. In other words, they were responsible for killing Carlo's father! Now we all know the secret inside the VHS tape! And also, we now know why Chairman hated Vivian much because Vivian's father witnessed the crime!

Seeing the video, Carlo eventually confronted Chairman. Together with his mother Louise, Carlo left Chairman alone! Chairman was begging to Carlo and Louise to comeback!

These were some of the last minute climax of this series in addition to the accident happened to Martin and Karen. The question now, could it be a happen ending?! And of course, will it be Carlo and Vivian or Vivian and Martin?! Will Martin recovers from his amnesia and remembers all his past!? I'm also curious why Carlo is in the jail in the trailer of the final episodes!? Hmmmm....!

So, let us all witness the breath-taking grand finale of "Lovers In Paris" this coming Friday in ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida! Best wishes to Carlo, Martin, and Vivian...!!! c",)
